During CES 2012 Soundmatters will introduce their new “FoxLo” a postcard-sized powered subwoofer for use with foxL, Jambox and other portable and desktop speakers. With CES less than a week away, it won’t be long before we can tell all.
Dr. Guenther like many of us require our music on the go, “Music is a big part of my life, yet so is travel. There weren’t any really small hifi-quality portable loudspeakers – so utilizing a number of our patented and proprietary technologies, I developed one myself. A true labor of love, I named it after Fox, my 1st grandson. Listen and enjoy.”
Unlike other companies, Soundmatters actually designs its speakers from scratch, and unlike other portable speaker systems, foxL is engineered around a pair of expensive highly sophisticated acoustic drivers, unique in their ability to reproduce both extreme high (tweeter) and low (woofer) frequencies from a single very small diameter (25mm) dome speaker, dubbed the “Twoofer”.
