At GG, we are girls first, fashionistas second and we are not geeks. We have nothing against girl geeks, we admire them greatly but we are not. So when we review something, you can see just how easy or complicated something is to use.
It has been a week since the girls at Girlie Gadgets received the Asus Eee Pad Transformer TF101 for review. It has been a love / hate relationship so far, but we feel there is still hope that we can end up in a long and committed relationship.
We love; the color – a beautiful bronze pewter color. Have we mentioned this before? Most likely because really every laptop manufacturer could take a page from this.
We love; that there is a manual you can download
We hate; that we have to use the manual.
We love; that you there are SD Card and USB slots on the tablet.
We hate; that we can’t get our SD card and USB slot to work.
We love; that the Transformer comes with a keyboard so it is easy to transition from tablet to netbook
We hate; surprise, there’s nothing we hate about that.
We love; that it has “voice search”, so when you want to search something on Google, you just press the button, speak the search word, place or thing you want and either the web page will come right up, or a list of what it thought you said will pop up and most likely what you said will be on the list.
We have so much more to try with the tablet and so much more to learn. We’re not giving up on this relationship – yet.
